We got 10" of snow in the last couple of days, and as usual a cold front came through with the return of a glorious sun. The temperature dropped to 21ยบ BELOW at sunrise this morning!
Just before the storm, and around the same time as last year, a flock of at least a hundred brown-capped rosy finch was all over the feeders and perched on top of the trees. From inside the house, the shutter click of my camera was loud enough to send them flying all at once, and I had a hard time capturing pictures of them!
